Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Oh Fever (Polish: Oj Gorączka), an app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android phones published by OUMM (Poland), and the website ohfever.app handle information. The short version: the app has no servers of ours, creates no account, and we cannot see anything you enter.

1. Who is responsible

Data controller for the website: OUMM, Poland. Contact: support@ohfever.app. For data you store in the app, you are in control: it lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your own Apple iCloud account under Apple's terms (iPhone and Apple Watch) or in your Android backup in your Google account under Google's terms (Android).

2. The app: what we collect

No health data, ever. Oh Fever does not transmit or store your entries on servers operated by us. There is no registration, no e-mail, no phone number and no advertising SDK in the app.

Pseudonymous usage statistics, only with your consent. The app can send usage statistics through Firebase Analytics (Google). This is off by default, on iPhone and on Android: the app asks you when you first open it, and you can change your choice at any time in the app's settings (on iPhone: Profile → Privacy; on Android: in the app's Settings). Until you agree, and after you switch it off, the app sends no usage statistics.

When it is on, Firebase receives events about how the app is used, for example that a temperature was logged, a dose was saved, a warning was shown, a tool (such as the leaflets or, on Android, a calculator) or the Apple Watch app was opened, or a purchase screen was shown. An event can carry categorical details, such as which feature or screen was used or which kind of entry, medicine or warning was involved. It never carries the exact values you enter (temperatures, amounts, weight, birth date), names or notes. Firebase links the events to a random app-instance identifier, so the statistics are pseudonymous, not anonymous, and it also receives device data: device model, operating system and app version, language and country. The app uses no advertising identifier, Google signals are off, and advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are denied. Google processes this data as our processor; see Firebase privacy and security.

The information you enter (child name, birth date, weight, temperature readings, medicine doses, notes) is stored:

• on your device, in the app's private container, and
• on iPhone and Apple Watch, optionally in your private iCloud database (CloudKit), operated by Apple, when your device is signed into iCloud. This enables sync between your own devices and the Apple Watch app.

On Android, the app keeps entries on the phone. If Android backup is on, they are also included in the encrypted backup in your Google account, under Google's terms. You can also export all entries to a JSON file and import them again, for example when you switch phones. The Android app does not use iCloud and does not share profiles with other people.

If you use “Share with the other parent” (iPhone only), Apple's iCloud sharing makes the selected child profile available to the people you invite. You choose the participants and can stop sharing at any time from the app. Sharing uses Apple's infrastructure; we are not a party to it.

Siri and Shortcuts requests are processed by Apple according to Apple's privacy terms. Widgets, Live Activities and the Android countdown notification read data from your device only.

3. Health data

Temperature readings, medicine doses and notes are health-related data about your child. Because the app never sends them to us, we do not process them in the sense of the GDPR. On iPhone they are protected by your device passcode, your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud encryption; on Android by your phone's screen lock and, in the backup, by Google's backup encryption. The app does not write to or read from Apple Health.

4. Exports

You can create a PDF report or a JSON export at any time. These files are generated on your device and shared only where you send them (for example to your doctor). Delete a child profile in the app to remove all of its entries from the device and, on iPhone, from your iCloud.

5. The website (ohfever.app)

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data (IP address, user agent, request logs) to deliver and protect the site. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, only after you consent in the cookie banner. Analytics is configured without advertising features; Google acts as our processor. You can withdraw consent by clearing cookies or via the banner link in the footer. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set; Google signals and all advertising features are off.

If you e-mail us, we keep the correspondence as long as needed to help you and then delete it.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

The legal basis for the usage statistics in the app and for Google Analytics on the website is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing before the withdrawal. For website data and usage statistics you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO). Write to support@ohfever.app. For data inside the app, use the app's export and delete functions; Apple handles iCloud and Google handles Android backup under their own policies.

7. Children

The app is intended for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Changes

We will update this page when the app or the website changes in a way that affects privacy, and note the date at the top.
